Special Needs
The EMC's Education department provides free access programmes for visitors with various abilities. We cater to groups and individuals who have impaired sight and/or hearing, memory loss, or who have different learning and/or developmental abilities.
A sign language interpreter is available upon request at least four weeks in advance.
The Museum has multisensory experiences and verbal descriptions that bring the collection to life. This programme is available upon request at least four weeks in advance.
People with Alzheimer’s and related dementias are invited, along with their carers, to experience original works of art through discussion, art-making, and activities in the galleries facilitated by the Education Department. This programme is available upon request at least four weeks in advance.
The Education Department provides workshops that include gallery activities and an art project for children and adults with differing learning and/or developmental abilities. This programme is available upon request at least four weeks in advance.
