Museums belongs to everyone

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo in cooperation with the Egyptian Museum in Turin has hosted an educational webinar entitled, “Museums belong to everyone.” Federica Facchetti, Curator at the Egyptian Museum in Turin talks about the education projects at the museum and the museum’s didactic publications and children’s books. Alessia Fassone, Curator for the Ptolemaic, Roman – Late Antique and the Temple of Ellesiya rooms at the same museum explains how to outspread the Egyptomania in the history of modern and contemporary Egypt. This webinar comes within the framework of the project of transforming the Egyptian Museum, in cooperation with European museums e.g. The Egyptian Museum in Turin, the Louvre Museum, the British Museum, the Egyptian Museum in Berlin, the National Museum of Archaeology in the Netherlands.
